The Beecher Center for the Electronic Arts:
Folks who do digital collages may want to find out more about the Beecher Center the Electronic Arts. This three-floor $5 million dollar wing of the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio opened in January, 2000. It devoted entirely to digital art. Louis Zona is the executive director. Among his plans are virtual exhibitions on the Internet. His e-mail is LAZ@cisnet.com

National Collage Society Annual Juried Exhibition: Location changes each year. Some past venues include Monserrat Collage of Art, Beverly, MA, Case Western University, Cleveland, OH. Slides due August 15th each year (not a postmark deadline). Open to all artists. $10 plus $30 annual dues. Information and application form at www.nationalcollage.com

National Collage Society Annual Postcard Show:

Call to artists: Recycled Juried Art Show
Deadline is Thursday, April 12, 2012

Whether it's environmentally friendly or cutting-edge, we are accepting conceptual works made from found objects. Open media.

The Art Center invites all artists to submit works in any media for our Recycled juried exhibit. This show will represent how ordinary items or generally discarded items can become art. Entries are due on Thursday, April 12, 2012.
 
The opening reception will be held at:
The Art Center II Studios
229 North Hogan Street
Jacksonville, FL 32202

Thursday, April 19, 2012
between 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.


Cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on entries received.
 
How to apply:
TAC members: $20 up to 3 entries, non-members: $25 up to 3 entries; $5 per each additional entry for everyone. Artists must be 18 years and older to participate.
 
Entries are to be dropped off at the Premier Gallery at Bank of America Tower (50 N. Laura Street, Suite 150) during operating hours, Tuesday - Friday between 11:00AM and 3:00PM. You may also deliver your entries to The Art Center II Studios on Tuesday, April 10 between 6:30 - 9:00pm.
